It’s safe to say that any new designer at the helm visiting any fashion archives would feel like a child in a toy shop. Archival clothing allows modern day designers to delve into a past that was very different to the present. The archives of big name brands such as Balenciaga, Maison Margiela, etc. continuously inspire the present contemporary collections and development of a brands DNA.

For the fifth installation of the Sunny.Arkives Catalog, we showcase upcoming pieces that will be available via the “Red Room”. We twist the narrative of the urban legend which identifies a “Red Room” as a space where hidden services and illegal activities were performed on the dark web. Instead, we take this concept and turn it into a space where archival garments are no longer hidden to the community, while showcasing different looks mainly inspired by the grunge scene, as well as the attention to detail of each piece.
