Undercover x Fragment SS04 “Languid” Hybrid Patchwork Button Up

Undercover was founded in 1993 by Jun Takahashi whilst he attended Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, alongside the famous Nigo. His clothing label is driven by the motto “We make noise, not clothes.” One of the godfathers of the Japanese street wear Hiroshi Fujiwara launched Fragment Design in 2003, pulling the lightning bolt logo idea from a previous project titled “Electric Cottage” and finding the word fragment by looking in the dictionary. Undercover and Fragment first collaborated in 2004 as Takahashi and Fujiwara have previously cofounded the Japanese punk aesthetic brand “AFFA” in 1994
This unique button up shirt was released in the Spring/Summer 2004 “Languid” collection. Features a unique hybrid construction with the upper made of fleece with a striped pattern and patchwork design (pattern also featured at the button on backside). Fleece material featured on majority of the backside as well, as it extends to the sleeve and collar. Two chest pockets. In good condition with no major flaws or damages
