After working various fashion houses for 11 years, and in the midst of World War II, participating as a member of the French Army for 5 years, Pierre Balmain founded his own fashion house under his name in 1945. Pierre passed away in 1982 after suffering from liver cancer. Christopher Decarnin reimagined the Balmain style when he became head designer in 2006; he elaborately decorated pieces that differed from the simplicity of Balmain’s original approach. This gorgeous pair of Balmain biker denim was released in a more recent collection after the departure of Decarnin. Biker-style denim with the distressed padded knee and ribbed panel design, coming in a sky blue wash. Features two zipper pockets below the front pockets, concealed fly and button fastening. ‘B’ logo embossed on one of the rear pockets. Classic triple belt loop on the backside. In great condition with some minor flaws (staining on some areas), but maintains great quality
