Chrome Hearts was originally founded in 1988 by Richard Stark and leather manufacturer John Bowman in a Los Angeles garage. They started by crafting leather jackets until the third member Leonard Kamhout, who worked exclusively with sterling silver joined. By the early ‘90s, the fashion world started paying attention to Chrome Hearts, but Stark has never been interested in being pigeonholed as fashion brand despite its ties to the industry. Today, the Stark children have used their LA connections to push the brand into the spotlight for a whole new generation
Showcased is a lovely red vintage Chrome Hearts t shirt from the Foti line. Foti By Chrome Hearts was born in 2002 during the first exhibition in Tokyo called “Fisting Scars”. They had about six unique characters & none of them were really for sale. Since then from those first few pieces it has grown into 12 unique characters with personalities all of their own. The name of the character featured on this t shirt is “Harris Teeter”. Features the Chrome Hearts T-bar graphic on the side with four Harris figurines above, and the signature cross motif with Harris is on the right sleeve as well. In solid condition with no major flaws or damages
