This sought after piece is from the Undercover Autumn/Winter 2003 “Paper Doll” collection; this collection reflected upon Takahashi’s interest in paper dress up dolls as different patterns, fabrics, and cuts are used throughout different pieces giving an overall DIY aesthetic to each piece. Not only did the collection derive inspiration from the suits and dresses typically worn by these dolls, but the runway invitations sent out to guests also came in the shape of said dolls.
This stunning piece features a unique camo pattern featuring inlayed George Bush and Osama Bin Laden motifs, and an attached shirt tied at the waist. Triangular D ring on the front and back side of the denim on the waist loop. Lower leg zipper pockets beneath two side cargo pockets and an adjustable leg opening and waist.
