Undercover AW03 “Paper Doll” Hybrid Denim

This sought after piece is from the Undercover Autumn/Winter 2003 “Paper Doll” collection; this collection reflected upon Takahashi’s interest in paper dress up dolls as different patterns, fabrics, and cuts are used throughout different pieces giving an overall DIY aesthetic to each piece. Not only did the collection derive inspiration from the suits and dresses typically worn by these dolls, but the runway invitations sent out to guests also came in the shape of said dolls
These unique hybrid pants feature a black wash denim on the back side, with grey/black cut and sewn sweatshirts on the front. The sweater pieces feature different UC collegiate motifs, with the iconic grey ‘Undercover’ banner on the upper right thigh. Two zipper pockets on the sweatpants, with back pockets on the denim. Adjustable waist with elastic band and drawstring. In solid condition with some slight flaws, but no major damages (some light fading and heel bite on denim)
