A Bathing Ape 00s Red ‘Twinsta’ Denim
Size: Large
Tomoaki Nagao, more commonly known as Nigo, founded Bape or A Bathing Ape in 1993 after studying fashion in college alongside the founder of Undercover Jun Takahashi; he opened his first store “Nowhere” with him in Ura-Harajuku as his first store that sold a limited quantity of his first pieces. According to Nigo, the name “BAPE” is a reference to “A Bathing Ape in Lukewarm Water” - Japanese people typically have daily baths in water at lukewarm temperature
This classic pair of light-wash denim from the early 2000s features a red ‘Twinsta’ logo across the crotch. This logo was painted directly onto the denim, giving it a faded look from the aging. Different from the more common ‘Bapesta’ logo, the Twinsta has the tail ends on both sides of the star. Leather rectangular Bape tag stitched onto the back pocket. In good condition with no major flaws or damages, aside from natural distressing of the denim
