OG Bape x Kaws 2006 Reversible Crewneck
When the two creative minds Nico and Kaws met for the first time in 2001 as Kaws had an exhibit on the top floor of a Tokyo-area shopping center, they clicked immediately and started working together. The first Bape x Kaws collaboration trickled down between 2004 ~ 2005, coinciding with Bape’s U.S. expansion and surging popularity in hip-hop, as this lead to Kaws being spread throughout and being well known
This amazing collaborative crewneck was released in 2006; features 4 designs as it is reversible, front side being olive and the reverse side being purple. The olive side features the Bape logo with the iconic cause “x” eye marks and the Kaws ghost on the classic Bape logo. The purple side features a simplistic Bape logo with the “P” having the Kaws “x” eye marks and the back features the iconic phrase “ape shall never kill ape” in a interesting font. In amazing condition with no major flaws (some slight fading)
