Established in 1984, Kapital’s name comes from Japan’s ‘denim capital’ Kojima. A kooky take on utilitarian-inspired workwear, Kapital creates original menswear using Japanese production techniques perfected across the decades. The Kountry line was established in 2010, and it specializes in dying and washing techniques. Furthermore, the Kountry line takes existing Kapital pieces and re-works them to imbue a one-of-a-kind sense of authenticity
These lovely sweatpants were released in the Fall/Winter 2022 collection, which was heavily inspired by the 1940s baseball culture. These sweatpants have a flared silhouette made of fleece lining material. A college sweatshirt design with a large KOUNTRY logo printed on the front, as well as the Kapital laundry logo. Adjustable strap with elastic waist band. In brand new condition, purchased from the Kapital store in Tokyo
