According to Nigo, the name “BAPE” is a reference to “A Bathing Ape in Lukewarm Water” - Japanese people typically have daily baths in water at lukewarm temperature

Features a OG ‘A Bathing Ape’ tag stitched onto the front side of the bag, with the signature quote “Ape Shall Never Kill Ape”.
