Nigo released one of the most iconic sneakers in the world of street wear in the early 2000s, the Bapestas. The Bapestas can be seen as “replicas” of the Nike Air Force 1 as the difference are subtle, but significant as the lightning star replaced the swoosh, while the words “APE” or “BAPE” replaced the “AIR” that typically appears on the Air Force 1’s midsole. Some of the most iconic Bapestas include the Kanye West Bapestas released in 2007 and the Kaws Bapestas released in 2005
This extremely rare pair of OG Bapestas in a green/white color way was released in 2009 in a city limited pack, as these were only released in the Bape Shibuya store. Constructed of patent leather as seen across many other iconic OG Bapestas, with a registered trademark logo and Bape head on the backside of each shoe. In basically brand new condition with the original tags still attached and comes with the shoe box. Has some yellowing on the white area of the sole due to aging, but has no damages on the patent leather
