In 1993 Jun Takahashi, the founder of Undercover & Nigo, the founder of “A Bathing Ape” collaborated in opening a store called NOWHERE in Harajuku. The store sold both Undercover and Bape products as well as joint collaboration products; every piece from the NOWHERE store is given a legendary status to the street wear world as the beginning to both top brands came from one store. Both Nigo and Takahashi met in 1990 while studying at Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College (personal story: my grandmother attended this college). “Last Orgy” was a popular subcultural magazine that Hiroshi Fujiwara (the founder of Fragment) started, and Tomoaki Nagao who looked up to Fujiwara was named “Ni-go” or “Fujiwara Hiroshi #2” by a store clerk in resemblance of Fujiwara. Last Orgy 2 was a video series created by the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Jun Takashi of Undercover and Nigo of Bape. The show gave some insight into the happenings in Harajuku

This collaborative footwear was released in 2010, for the Undercover “Less But Better” collection. This unique shoe is called the Bape Skullstas, the silhouette presents how Nigo took inspiration from the Adidas Superstars. The toe box is in the form of a Ape’s nose with its nostril on it, and the iconic Bapesta logo is featured on the sides of each pair of shoe. Additionally the tongue of the shoe features the Nowhere store logo. In decent condition with minor heel drag and some peeling of the inner leather due to aging; still in very wearable condition
