The Japanese street wear label, Devilock was founded by Noriaki Endo in the 90s as the name of the brand comes from his favorite punk music band The Misfits hairstyle, the devilock. Like Number (N)ine, thsi brand holds a strong background referencing the pink scene as Endo himself has said in interviews that “Without punk, we have nothing because it is what we are all about!”. Number (N)ine was founded in 1997 by Takahiro Miyashita; the brand holds heavy influence from the American and music scene (grunge, rock, punk) as many of the pieces reflect the style. The Number (N)ine name itself is derived from "Revolution 9," The Beatles song off their seminal self-titled 1968 album

This collaborative piece was released for the 9th anniversary of Number (N)ine, as they teamed up with Devilock. This all-black hoodie features a skull graphic on the front side, with the “Devilock meets Number (N)ine” phrase above.
